Bruschetta
(Brew-Ske-Ta), from the Italian
bruscare meaning
"to roast over coals," is traditionally garlic bread made by
rubbing slices of toasted bread with garlic cloves, then drizzling
the bread with olive oil. The bread is salted, peppered and
served warm. Bruschetta has been a staple of Italian fare for
many years. What it has become in America though is quite a
different story.
Bella's Bruschetta is a
ready-to-serve appetizer served on
toasted Italian bread and sprinkled with your favorite cheese. It
is made with diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, olive oil, balsamic
vinegar, basil and a few family secrets. You see, our family has
been eating bruschetta for many years. We knew that we liked it,
but the question was--would others?
So with the
help of a company called Acenet in
Athens, Ohio,
we "tinkered" with our family recipe until it was just right. The
result is an Old World flavor that tastes like you've worked for
hours in your own kitchen.
We are pleased to offer
Bella's Bruschetta to you with the
hope that you enjoy it as much as we have. As you open the jar,
be sure to enjoy the colors and aroma of our product. The little
Italian face on the jar is a real member of our family and her name is
Isabella. But you don't have to be Italian to enjoy our product.
In fact, here are just a few
ways we have discovered you can enjoy
Bella's Bruschetta: - As a snack
on toasted Italian
bread, sprinkled with your favorite
Italian cheese
- Toss with your favorite
pasta
- Over a baked potato
- Accent steaks, chicken or fish
- Use as a pizza
topping
- Stir into scrambled eggs and sprinkle with
your favorite cheese
We thank you for
trying our product and from our family to
yours - Mangiare, esso è squisito!
